I am currently four and a half weeks post laparoscopic Nissan fundoplication surgery (a hiatus hernia was also present which was fixed at the same time as the Nissen fundoplication). This was performed by Mr Moussa and I can honestly say it has been life changing. For years I have suffered with sickness, teeth erosion, mouth sores, burping, throat clearing and difficulty eating. Following the procedure all my symptoms have disappeared and I am now able to sleep and go about my daily activities without any discomfort. I am no longer taking PPI medication and the very small incisions have healed beautifully. Throughout the whole journey I have been shown nothing but compassion and understanding by Mr Moussa and his team and I wholeheartedly recommend this surgery for anyone thinking of undertaking it.

One month ago Mr. Moussa performed a fundoplication and hiatus hernia op for me. I feel strong and well already. I am very grateful to him and his team for their care. I found him to be very professional while demonstrating concern and effort in explaining clearly ( in every day language) answers to my questions before the op. A few hours after the op he visited me on the ward and because I was still feeling a bit woozy he willingly spoke to my daughter on my phone giving her a clear picture of how the op had gone. Thank you for your personal and professional care Mr Moussa! It matters!

Mr Moussa was the only surgeon that listened to me and I cannot thank him enough! I am no longer in any pain after my surgery, after many months in excruciating pain. Thank you Mrs Helen Morris

Mr Moussa and his entire team gave me total confidence in their ability to look after me both prior and after the operation for the removal of my gallbladder. The after care at St Albans hospital with both Kate Shaw and Sarah Melling was very professional and they made me feel very comfortable in a stressful situation.
